what do you want to learn?
i’m trying to get more ideas of what you want to learn about on the podcast.
any questions you have that i can help find answers to?
anything you would like me to go into more detail on?
i’m all about learning new stuff, and many times its because someone else thought of a good question to ask!

I’d like to know more about estimating how much fiber to buy to spin for specific projects, so I don’t overstash myself. Is that something you can share?
Thanks for your podcast. I’m enjoying listening.
Hi,
I really like your spinning segments. I have a really hard time getting woollen spinning. I don’t know if it’s my bad carding or my spinning technique, but I’d love some tips on woollen preparation and long draw spinning.
Hey, I’m an English knitter who is desperately trying to get a grasp on Continental style knitting. I know that when you were at SOAR you spent a lot of time watching other knitters knit, I guess I wonder if you’d be willing to show some of the more interesting or informational things that you learned while watching the hands of other knitters and that you learned by your own experience?
btw: you add a bright spot to my week through the podcast!
I would like to learn more about working with natural dyes,(plants etc)
Hi Meghan,
I really want to hear more of what you learned at Soar in your classes. Also, I too would like to know a little more about how to calculate how many ounces of fiber you would need to make a sweater. I know that yardages vary by sizes and also I think it would depend on how fine you spin the yarn. I also would like to know where to get hand dyed fiber in more than 4 ounces.
Like mrsmouse I want to know how to plan an entire project from ordering the right fiber to the best way to spin that fiber for a particular garment. Along those lines, I’d like to know about any tools that make the fiber project planning and execution easier. Also I’d like to learn more about blending fibers (eg Shetland and BFL – is that a good mix? for what type of garment? Pros and cons of this mix? stuff like that.) Thanks so much.
