Meghan, I swear, we must be related. You love all the same things I do. I ahve long been a fan of the Outlander series and as soon as I catch up on your podcasts (1 1/2 left to go) I am starting the latest in the series, An Echo in the Bone. You inspire my spinning and make me want to learn more and I too am a Urban homesteader. Love to garden and knit and spin and dye. Have you ever thought of doing the natural dyes from plants you grow in your own garden? I Love this book :

I am in Ca and we are just starting to plant. I am redoing the garden and am putting in an herb garden and plan to add some dye plants to that side, too.

Meghan – I love your show – the Outlander was great and the rest of the series worth it. For your other listeners – it was difficult to get past the first 100 pages, but after that , you’re hooked! I also love the Knittingfool site – not that I’m quite ready for that, yet, but it looks like a great find! The interview/Susan was fun – just got done listening to it! Thanks!

I totally understand the potty training. We are working through it now with our youngest. It really does come down to them and when it becomes their idea. It will come, after all my 14 year old figured it out! = )

I too just listened to your podcast. Wonderful as always and just THE best companion when I knit. I came right to the show notes to check out your pictures and what a hoot…..i lurve the little man’s PJ’s!!! SHEEP! Why am I not surprised!

His sweater is just awesome and just think of all the adventures he will have wearing that wonderful sweater.

Giggled when you said you were “hanging up”…you are too funny. Thanks again Meghan!!

Another great podcast. I had to come see your pictures. Lovely yarn, great sweater and wow, little man is growing!

I nearly fell off my chair when I listened to your Knit a Journey interview and you expressed a wish for a math monkey to work your sweater patterns. I’ve been dying to do that for you! I’m starting a new business where I can help people make their next damn sweater fit.

So if you can see me here with my hand raised and squirming like I have to go real bad, give me a chance to help you with your next sweater. Some feedback is all I ask–good, bad or ugly. Cool?

I like the Outlander series, too. But I’m listening to the audio versions, narrated by Davina Porter. It brings the whole book to life, plus it lasts something like 40+ hours, and keeps your hands free to knit or spin.

I love Owen’s sweater. Excellent job Mom. Don’t change it at all it’s perfect.

I tried reading Outlander but couldn’t get into it. Glad you love it.
