Squeeee! I finally got a chance today to blog the *wonderful* prize you sent me!!!!

http://noricum.blogspot.com/2009/04/squeeeeeee.html

Thank you so much!!!!

For the sweater, I'd recommend re-washing it (possibly with a stain remover on the spots in non-fair isle portions), rinsing until the bleeding stops, and then giving it a vinegar rinse to set any remaining dye. (And then another rinse to get rid of the vinegar, of course.) Get out as much water as you can by gently squeezing, and then rolling in towels and standing on the rolled towels. The less water in the sweater while it's drying, the less it'll bleed.

Thinking about how I use dpns, I *think* I have the left needle over the right when starting the new needle, and then coming up with the working needle from below. Of course, I don't have a set in front of me to try.

I'm so sorry to hear about the hearing aids! I hope they're found soon, or that the school replaces them!

Ouch! I hope your hand feels better soon! Do you think that using a felted handle cozy would work? I'm not sure if it would be okay to stay on in the oven, but if you put it on when you took it out, it would save you from doing something similar again. (Of course the memory of the pain probably will too...) *hugs*!
