Yay new episode! I’m still catching up; in my world, it’s only September in Meghan-land. But I’ll get there! And my favorite locally roasted coffee is Barefoot Coffee, but MAN those baristas are snotty. Hmpf!

check out this website, it’s Milwaukee, WI Sewerage website. They sell those barrels for $30 and have the hardware installed. Inner city kids make them and assist you when you come to pick it up. The website also has “rain garden” information. Thanks for your podcast, I’m a new fan.

Meghan, Heard your podcast yesterday. Just wanted to let you know about an article that I read last year in the Oct 2008 Workbench magazine on building your own rain barrel. It uses an industrial strength plastic trash can and supplies you can get from the local hardware store. It would probably cost more than Ellen’s suggestion unless you have some of the items around the house. I love all your green ideas on the podcast by the way.
