First, I love the podcast.
When you asked about 13th floor phobia, I searched wikipedia. Here’s the page (kinda interesting): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskaidekaphobia
And congrats about the new job!
Meg,
We are home!!! I’m so glad we’re done being evacuated. But you should know I listened to this ep while a FLOOD VICTIM! Oooo!
I’m so thrilled about your job. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
I’m sorry about Bob. He’s such a great dude.
Lauren
Congratulations on the job! I started listening to your podcasts when I had to travel for my job. I never get as much knitting done as I plan because I’m usually exhausted. The 13th floor phenomena is interesting, and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel with a 13th floor.
Glad you mentioned the bed. We’re thinking we need a new one, so we’ll check out Sam’s. When the bed in the RV is more comfortable than the one in the house, you know you need to go shopping. Just wanted to tell you try try the fleece sheets. I bought some a couple of years ago at Linens and Things. My husband just loves them! Weirdly enough, they are actually cool in the summer as well as warm in the winter.
I’m shopping the online sites now for an extra set to keep in the RV.
The low, sexy, cold-induced voice reminded me of the episode of Friends where Phoebe had a cold that made her singing voice very shexay, so she did all she could to keep her cold.
BTW, I think it’s wonderful for you to have found the career that will allow you to spend as much time with The Little Man as possible. It sounds like you are doing the right thing for yourself and your family, and that is what matters most. We have made the same decision here (me working from home for less money than I would make working outside of the house), and, while we have had some tight times (like right now), it’s worth it that we have time together as a family. You’re such a great mom!
