    Hi Meghan,

LOVE YOUR PODCAST. Avid listener, sometime stalker, rookie commenter ; )

I haven’t listened to the new podcast YET, but I wanted to drop you a qick note to say I have the SAME EXACT sewing machine! It was my husband’s grandmothers. Also, I, too, am obsessed with one of your “favorite things” … the Norfolk Eagle Cam

A amazing eagle couple and their three babies (that just hatched).

    Thanks for the podcast!

I really enjoyed this week’s podcast! I loved hearing about your sewing machine, and about your swatch and how it washed! I’d love to have a treadle sewing machine one day. :)

I’m hooked. Currently watching the Eagles feeding their babies. :-)

    1) totally can’t wait to see how you bloom as a crafter when you learn to sew/quilt. I just spent $100 to find out the problems I had with my hand-me-down Necchi machine was a) a broken light bulb, b) user error—thought the feed dogs or the tension nob needed adjustment…nope it was ‘user error’…the big “L” on my forhead was free. I am now comfortable with my machine and started a flying geese quilt and a plain scrap square quilt.

    2) I am watching the same falcons and a litter of lab puppies…just because

the whole lizard at the hummingbird nest freaked me out,

Hi Meghan!! I don’t knit or crochet or spin but I LOVE listening to your podcast!!

I am a quilter and I have some podcasts for you to try:

wholelottasinger – she talks about vintage sewing machines and I’m sure she’d be a priceless resource regarding your treadle (congrats! on that). She’s also a quilter.

    Also: sew stitch create
    quilts n kids
quilting for the rest of us
    the pioneer quilter
    patchwork and pacifiers
    quilt cabana corner
    mirkwood designs – (fabulous!)

Start with these and have fun! I so hope you decide to take up quilting. I don’t have a treadle (but used to sew on one as a kid) but would be happy to help with quilting.
